According to preliminary reports there was much intelligence collected from the bin Laden hideout. Since he probably never expected to be captured he may have gotten lax in his security procedures and allowed some documents to accumulate which he would have otherwise destroyed or discarded.

The intelligence recovered from the hideout of Osama bin Laden may potentially be the treasure trove that breaks the back of al-Qaeda. I am sure that our troops have recovered all types of goodies that we may never hear about. The value of what was recovered depends on how bin Laden had his security set up. There may have been information that he had stashed away that no one will ever know about. I personally believe that this is a very likely scenario but even if he did have most of his information hidden away the information which was recovered should be more than enough to give us some serious insight into activities that we didn have a clue about before.
